contest about inspiration behind my craft

The Pink Contest. I have to enter photographs that inspire me to create my craft. It was much easier then I thought it would be.
Of course Iam inspired to knit for love, love of the craft, love of giving to others, love of always learning and improving my skill.I am inspired to knit by color, I love playing with combinations and textures and producing results I can be proud of.
One of the biggest inspirations behind my knitting is to avoid the
deep dark hole of depression, I have been there too many times
a good project with loving intentions and gorgeous color keeps
the sad Grace at bay.

And Phoe, Happy 300th post and 2nd anniversary.

Huh. Don't think I could enter said contest. What does inspire me? I say often that knitting is my therapy, spinning, my zen... ??

WOW love your new blog look.
For me what inspires me is the needs of others and the need for peace. I find that peace that diverts depression when I'm creating something that fills a need and my needles are busy.
Knitting is serenity........
Take care

I love your shawl!! It is just so gorgeous. I may just have to go over to Ravelry and get that pattern for myself!

Depression.....oh, depression. I have been there so many times, too. Knitting, crocheting, crafting something out of basically nothing keeps me from the depths of despair.

I give almost everything away, and when I see the joy on another's face at a handmade gift just for them, this always helps to keep the blues away. I am made joyful by making others joyful.

Stay joyful....

Beth

Thanks!

I love your sparkley blog and have suffered from depression myself in the past. It's great that knitting helps.

Thanks for taking part.
